Beamex has reached a major milestone in the development of Logical, a cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) software package for performing calibrations and monitoring industrial metrology. The latest version of Logical features new functions for managing accounts and users, creating a plant structure and the instruments to be calibrated, managing standards and storing calibration results.
"Logical is more than ever a mobile and field calibration solution thanks to documentation calibrators such as the Beamex MC2, MC4, MC6, MC6-Ex, MC6 Workstation or the brand-new MC6-T temperature calibrator. For customers wishing to use Logical with their standards, Logical also works with the bMobile smartphone and tablet app. Beamex has been developing and designing calibration equipment for over 40 years, and metrology software for over 20 years; Beamex Logical is the latest generation of our software".says Antti Mäkynen, Product Manager.
"To start using Logical, all you have to do is go to the Logical website and register. After registering, you'll be able to select your subscription, purchase calibration credits and start working in a true pay-per-use environment. Logical's subscriptions have been designed to offer a scalable cost, including very low monthly fees allowing even the smallest companies to benefit from a fully digitalized industrial metrology solution."adds Jonas Heinola, Logical Sales Manager.
The Logical Cloud communicates with calibrators and tablets, enabling the calibration process to move between "online" and "offline" environments, even in areas without internet access. Logical uses webservice technology to enable any device connected to the Internet to configure procedures and consult calibration data. Logical is compatible with most web browsers such as Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari. Logical will initially be available with an English user interface, with other languages to follow later in 2020.
"We are proud and delighted to bring to market a revolutionary technology that will bring huge benefits to customers who today use pencil and paper or a manual process for their calibrations. Those wishing to take the first step towards digitizing their industrial metrology will be able to do so simply and cost-effectively with Logical."says Jan-Henrik Svensson, CEO of the Beamex Group.
Beamex is also continuing to develop its CMX industrial metrology software: "an excellent choice for the most regulated industries".according to the company.
