The young company Lify Air - which has developed a micro-sensor to count and discriminate pollens in the air - is one of the 73 winners of the 22nd edition of the i-Lab innovation competition, organized by the Ministry of Education Higher and Research.
Created in November 2018, Lify Air aims to offer an innovative system for disseminating alerts and prevention messages for allergic and asthma populations.
Developed in partnership with the CNRS d'Orléans, its device will automatically detect, count and discriminate between different types of pollen present in the ambient air in real time, which will represent an alternative to the process of human capture and discrimination and not real time. .
Thanks to the qualitative data generated in real time, themselves coupled with other environmental data and artificial intelligence, the company intends to pave the way for pollen prediction over several days in close proximity.
