Decidedly, it is difficult to keep the schedules of professional exhibitions ... Health crisis, economic crisis and decisions by companies and organizers are disrupting the calendar of upcoming fairs. Originally, the international microtechnology and precision fair was to be held in September 2020 in Besançon, as every even year... Faced with the crisis, the association Micronora had decided to postpone its edition by one year and then to resume the normal schedule. Either a Micronora is planned for September 2021 and another Micronora in September 2022. This discrepancy had moved the stakeholders of the other events devoted to measurement, part of the nomenclature of the Micronora show.
New change with the announcement by the Micronora office of the outright cancellation of the edition of Micronora 2021. Organizers say that in May 2020 it seemed wise to postpone until 2021 But a survey dating back to the beginning of the year to gather the opinions of exhibitors and their expectations towards this show got the worse of the situation.
Organizers are now focusing on the next edition of the Micronora show, which will take place from 27 to 30 September 2022.
Thierry Bisiaux, President: "We are disappointed that we will not be able to hold a trade show in 2021; we looked forward to this recovery, but the current conditions do not allow us to organise an international event of this magnitude with the guarantee of quality that we all expect. This upstream announcement will avoid any unnecessary expenses for exhibitors and Micronora. The team is already mobilized to make the 2022 edition a show of renewal! ».
Sandra Liardon, Director: "We believe that face-to-face meetings, networking and live experiences remain essential, especially when it comes to industrial technologies and innovations. However, this health crisis has accelerated our digital transformation, allowing us to expand the Micronora community, especially internationally. Our team is actively working on the 2022 edition to propose tailored solutions and a new approach to the trade show media."
