CFM technical day on February 10, 2021
In the age of Industry 4.0, digital chains and the explosion of three-dimensional control solutions, conventional measuring systems have not yet said their last word...
For each type of measurement required, each solution must be adapted to meet the need, optimizing the necessary resources, time and associated costs. Metrology makes it possible to achieve this optimization, by setting MPEs, estimating measurement uncertainties, and setting a capability consistent with the risk of non-conformity that you are prepared to accept.
During this technical day, experts will present the different dimensional measurement techniques, from basic to complex, for measuring mechanical parts (from small to large dimensions), with the emphasis on good practices and the metrology that supports these practices.
Manufacturers will be showcasing the solutions they implement to meet their needs in a wide range of fields, from automotive to robotics...
This Technical Day will provide all you need to know about dimensional metrology: basics, standards, technologies, feedback from users...
It will be held as a web conference only, given the current context.
Speakers come from Arts et Métiers Paris Tech, Université de Bourgogne, Carl Zeiss, cetim, Creaform-Ametek, Polyworks, PSA Group and SoftBank Robotics Europe.
Registration conditions and detailed program are available online.
In addition to numerous advantages and access to video libraries, CFM members benefit from a 50 % discount on participation in the Technical Days.
