The Emitech group has acquired the technical center of Vitesco Technologies, located in Osny (95).
This new test center will strengthen the Emitech group's test capabilities, notably for the validation of all vehicle technologies, and in particular the powertrain.
With its MAP (tuning) experts, three engine test benches, climatic chamber and emission roller test bench for measuring regulated pollutants up to Euro 6d Full, this new site strengthens and completes the Group's expertise in powertrains (whether thermal, hybrid or electric).
Within the Emitech group, the Achères (78), Bosroumois (27) and now Osny (95) sites concentrate the group's GMP activities under the EMC umbrella.
This acquisition is just the beginning, as the Emitech group is investing several million euros to ensure the development of test facilities for batteries, electric motors and their electronics, and hydrogen fuel technologies. Finally, the chassis dynamometer will be upgraded to enable it to measure vehicles compatible with the Euro 7 standard, ahead of the regulations due to come into force in 2025.
With 2x800kVA of electrical power, a technical center of over 1,000 m2 and 6,000 m2 of land, the Osny site is an ideal base for the development of the Group's battery and electric motorization activities.
Supporting customers in their mobility solutions that respect the energy transition is a strategic area of investment for the Emitech group. This translates into skills increasingly linked to vehicle synthesis. The Emitech group has four complementary chassis dynamometers: climatic chassis dynamometer, acoustic chassis dynamometer, electromagnetic compatibility chassis dynamometer and emission chassis dynamometer - the latter being located at the Osny site.
These skills and expertise are aimed primarily at the automotive sector, but extend to all road vehicles, as well as the rail, marine, energy and aeronautics sectors.
