The Emitech Group has acquired Vitesco Technologies' technical centre in Osny (95).
This new test centre reinforces the Testing Group's testing capabilities, particularly for the validation of all vehicle technologies and in particular its traction chain.
With its MAP (Focus) experts, its three engine benches, its climate chamber and its emission roller bench allowing the measurement of regulated pollutants up to a Euro 6d Full level, this new site strengthens and complements the group's expertise around powertrains (GMP) whether thermal, hybrid, or electric.
Thus, in the Emitech group, the sites of Achères (78), Bosroumois (27) and now Osny (95) concentrate the group's GMP activities under the aegis of EMC.
This acquisition is only a starting point, as the Emitech Group is investing several million euros to ensure the evolution of the testing methods for testing batteries, electric motors and their electronics, as well as hydrogen fuel technologies. Finally, an evolution of the roller bench will be carried out to enable it to measure vehicles compatible with the Euro 7 standard, thus preceding the regulation that will arrive by 2025.
With an electric power of 2x800kVA, a technical center of more than 1000 m2 and a field of 6000 m2, the Osny site is an ideal base for the development of battery and electric motorization activities within the group.
Supporting its customers in their mobility solutions that respect the energy transition is a strategic investment axis for the Emitech Group. This translates into skills increasingly related to vehicle synthesis. The Emitech group has four complementary roller benches: a climate roller bench, an acoustic roller bench, an electromagnetic compatibility roller bench, and a roller bench , the latter being located on the Osny site.
These skills and expertise are primarily aimed at the automotive sector, but extend to all road vehicles, as well as to the rail, marine, energy and aeronautics sectors.
