Endress+Hauser presents the new generation of Memosens digital technology for simple, safe and connected liquid analysis.
Memosens technology converts the measured value into a digital signal and transfers it inductively to the transmitter, providing secure data transfer for increased availability of the measuring point and processes. With Memosens 2.0, liquid analysis measuring points are ready for the future and the digitization of plants. The new technology is available for pH, redox, conductivity and dissolved oxygen sensors. It will be extended to the entire portfolio of liquid analysis sensors.
Unlocking the potential of measurement data
Memosens 2.0 sensors store a wide range of relevant data, such as operating hours, minimum and maximum temperatures and measured values, calibration histories and load matrices. All this data can be used and processed for comprehensive analysis and more precise process management. The sensors also provide the perfect basis for predictive maintenance strategies with Endress+Hauser's Heartbeat technology and enhanced IIoT digital services via the Netilion ecosystem.
Simplify liquid analysis
Memosens 2.0 combines state-of-the-art technology with practicality. As the Memosens sensors' electronics are integrated into the inductive head, they can be calibrated and adjusted under optimum laboratory conditions for the operator, to guarantee accurate results. Replacing sensors in the field is a simple operation that can be carried out quickly thanks to the lockable bayonet connector and automatic sensor identification by the transmitter.
Increase process safety
Non-contact digital data transmission eliminates the effects of humidity, corrosion and salt bridges, with warning messages in the event of signal transmission disruption. Galvanic isolation ensures interference-free measurement and electromagnetic compatibility of sensors. Memobase Plus software provides full traceability of all sensors used, enabling compliance with strict guidelines in regulated industries. Memosens 2.0 offers error-free flexibility for measuring points in hazardous areas, since all Ex sensors can be connected to all Endress+Hauser Ex transmitters.
Reduce operating costs
On-site sensor replacement is quick and easy, the use of pre-calibrated sensors reduces downtime, and regular regeneration extends sensor life. Laboratory calibration reduces standby hours for analysis experts.
Sustainable in all business sectors
According to Endress+Hauser, "Memosens sensors have proven their worth in all industries, from chemicals and food to life sciences, energy, drinking water and wastewater. Memosens 2.0 is backward compatible and can be easily integrated into existing systems, taking them to the next level towards future-ready liquid analysis."
