Sika offers the RCM 880 ambient measurement solution that simultaneously measures humidity, temperature and pressure with high accuracy thanks to an interchangeable multiparameter measurement probe.
The RCM 880 ambient measurement unit is integrated into a robust and compact housing (170 mm x 150 mm x 35 mm). It is particularly suitable for monitoring harsh environmental conditions in engine rooms, technical rooms, storage areas, air conditioning systems, etc.
The 83 mm x 33 mm backlit LCD display integrated into the RCM 880 ambient measurement box allows local viewing of humidity, temperature and pressure measurements in the form of numerical values or trendlines. The measured values can also be monitored remotely in real time thanks to its three analog output channels in current (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA) or voltage (0-10 V or 0-5 V).
The E03 digital measuring probe connects to the RCM 880 enclosure via an M12 connector. This multisensor probe offers excellent accuracy over the entire range of humidity (from 0 to 100% RH), temperature (from -40 to 85 °C) and pressure (from 300 to 1200 mbar abs) measurements. Its recalibration is facilitated by the built-in memory that allows the digital adjustment of the zero point and the slope. This probe, which has a very high level of vibration resistance, is equipped with a replaceable sintered bronze filter that protects it from dust and dirt. This guarantees a high reliability of operation over time.
With very high mechanical robustness, resistant to electromagnetic interference, and protected against splashing water and dust according to the IP65 rating, the RCM 880 ambient measurement unit is designed to operate reliably for years in the harsh conditions of engine rooms and technical rooms. Its ongoing APPROVAL of the EU-RO marine type will even allow it to be installed in the engine rooms of ships. Its antifouling keyboard with capacitive controls allows its use in dusty or oily environments.
