Trescal, the global specialist in metrology services, has announced the acquisition of Broadview Instrumentation Services, based in Cleveland, USA, and the calibration activities of Sudel Industries, based in Adelaide and Melbourne, Australia.
These acquisitions represent combined sales of €4.5 million. These are Trescal's 5th and 6th acquisitions this year, and its 30th and 31st since being acquired by Omers, one of Canada's leading pension funds, in March 2018.
Founded in 1987, Broadview Instrumentation Services is an A2LA-accredited calibration laboratory covering a wide range of fields, with specific expertise in flowmetering. The laboratory employs 14 people and has over 1,000 customers.
Founded in 1991 and located in Melbourne and Adelaide, Sudel Industries' calibration laboratories employ 17 people and provide one-stop-shop calibration services, mainly to the food industry.

We plan to make three to four additional acquisitions between now and the end of 2022 to complete our coverage of the country and strengthen our technical skills."
