Trescal, a global specialist in metrology services, announced the acquisition of Broadview Instrumentation Services, located in Cleveland, USA, and the calibration activities of Sudel Industries, located in Adelaide and Melbourne, Australia.
These acquisitions represent a combined turnover of €4.5 million. These are Trescal's 5th and 6th acquisitions this year and the 30th and 31st since Omers, one of Canada's leading pension funds, acquired in March 2018.
Established in 1987, Broadview Instrumentation Services is an A2LA accredited calibration laboratory covering a wide range of areas with specific skills in flowmetry. The laboratory employs 14 people and has more than 1,000 customers.
Founded in 1991 and located in Melbourne and Adelaide, Sudel Industries' calibration laboratories employ 17 people and provide one-stop-shop calibration services, primarily to the food industry.
