Simplification of complex measurements
The DSX1000 digital microscope offers various advanced and easy-to-use measurement functions that make the system even more powerful. New features include automatic edge detection for planar and profile measurements, which makes it easier for users to measure features and defects during quality control and assurance inspections. The new software also offers measurement of the difference between two data points, analysis models that allow users to automate analysis tasks, image stitching with a wider field of view, higher resolution and interval imaging. Once the analysis is complete, the new software allows users to export the data to third-party software, such as CAD programs, and present measurement results with image and profilometry data in custom reports tailored to the application.
Accelerated scans
To help inspectors get their work done faster, the new DSX1000 software brings increased user-friendliness to the microscope that increases inspection efficiency. For example, when changing the goal, the software prompts the user to select their new goal. The microscope then automatically changes the focal position so that the user can immediately get back to work rather than wasting time readjusting the focus.
In addition, to prevent users from getting lost when observing samples, the new macrocard uses an assembled image captured in panorama mode to clearly display the observation location on the sample. Image acquisition is also simpler: to acquire a 3D image, the user only has to set the scanning range according to the height of his sample, and the microscope takes care of the rest.
