The new shape measuring devices of the Rondcom Nex series are capable of simultaneously measuring shape, diameter and surface parameters with the highest precision. They feature a modular design designed by Accretech to cover multiple measurement tasks and to be adapted later. New features such as a potentiometer and the AutoForceDetector significantly increase the efficiency of measurement tasks.
This new series of devices, with an innovative design, is now systematically designed in a modular way according to a block construction system. Thanks to a multitude of variants, the customer can configure the system according to his own requirements. He can also, at first, acquire the shape testers in manual version, then later adapt them in CNC version, if he wants a higher level of automation. This possibility includes CNC positioning tables for complex parts with several asymmetrical measuring positions, as well as for tightening pallets of components in large series. This ensures investment security and flexibility for future measurement tasks.
The highest precision of concentricity and straightness in its class
According to Accretech, the Rondcom Nex series offers the highest concentricity and straightness accuracy in its class with values of (0.02+3.2H/10,000) μm and 0.15 μm (Z300). Performance achieved thanks to rotary trays with air bearings with extremely high rotational accuracy. Their design is such that they require little maintenance and are particularly durable. In addition, rondcom Nex Rs devices also make it possible to carry out high-precision roughness measurements according to DIN and ISO standards, in the linear directions of the R and X axes and in the direction of rotation on the circumference of the part.

AutoForceDetector (AFD) – for less operator intervention
The newly developed AutoForceDetector (AFD) probe simplifies work and ensures greater efficiency when measuring shape tolerances. Thus, the measurement direction and the necessary measuring force are adjusted automatically, allowing less intervention by the operator. The automatic measurement force adjustment function in combination with the T-pen option allows continuous measurement of circularity, roughness and torsion (optional), without the need for a change of probe or measuring arm. Thanks to the switching of the measurement direction, controlled by software, the AFD allows automatic measurement of inner and outer diameters.
Greater safety provided by the potentiometer for speed adjustment
On the new Rondcom Nex series, a potentiometer allows the control of the speed of movement of the shape testers, which is also a great advantage in terms of efficiency and safety during measurement. Until now, potentiometers were mainly found on coordinate measuring machines. Thus, shape measuring devices are equipped with a rotary control knob and a lock key. By turning the knob, the operator can temporarily reduce the speed when launching a CNC program or measurement on a small part, allowing him to perform the measurement safely during the check. Other safety features prevent accidents due to handling errors or incorrect settings.
This new Rondcom Nex series includes shape measuring devices for the metrology room and for the production workshop, with different Z-axis columns: a choice of 300, 500 or 900 mm with always the same specification for measurement accuracy. The devices are designed for rooms of up to 60 kg. Accretech has equipped its devices with software that stands out for its user-friendly interface, simple Teach-In programming, extensive measurement and analysis functions, as well as features for data processing.
