The new Rondcom Nex series of form-measuring devices are capable of measuring form, diameter and surface parameters simultaneously and with the utmost precision. They feature a modular design conceived by Accretech to cover a wide range of measurement tasks, and to be adaptable at a later date. New features such as a potentiometer and AutoForceDetector considerably enhance the efficiency of measurement tasks.
This new series of devices, with its innovative design, is now systematically built in a modular block system. Thanks to a multitude of variants, customers can configure the system according to their own requirements. They can also initially purchase the form testers in manual version, and later adapt them to the CNC version, if they wish a higher level of automation. This includes CNC positioning tables for complex parts with several asymmetrical measuring positions, and for clamping pallets of components in large production runs. This guarantees investment security and flexibility for future measurement tasks.
Highest concentricity and straightness accuracy in its class
According to Accretech, the Rondcom Nex series offers the highest concentricity and straightness accuracy in its class, with values of (0.02+3.2H/10,000) µm and 0.15 µm (Z300), achieved by air-bearing rotary tables with extremely high rotational accuracy. Their design is such that they require little maintenance and are particularly durable. What's more, Rondcom Nex Rs can also perform high-precision roughness measurements to DIN and ISO standards, in the linear directions of the R and X axes and in the direction of rotation on the part circumference.

AutoForceDetector (AFD) - for reduced operator intervention
The newly developed AutoForceDetector (AFD) probe simplifies work and ensures greater efficiency when measuring form tolerances. The measuring direction and the required measuring force are set automatically, reducing the need for operator intervention. The automatic measuring force adjustment function, in conjunction with the T stylus option, enables continuous measurement of circularity, roughness and torsion (optional), without the need to change the probe or measuring arm. Thanks to software-controlled switching of the measuring direction, the AFD enables automatic measurement of inside and outside diameters.
Greater safety thanks to speed adjustment potentiometer
On the new Rondcom Nex series, a potentiometer is used to control the speed of movement of the form testers, which is also a great advantage in terms of measuring efficiency and safety. Until now, potentiometers were mainly found on coordinate measuring machines. Nowadays, form measuring machines are equipped with a rotary control knob and a locking button. By turning the knob, the operator can temporarily reduce speed when starting a CNC program or measuring a small part, enabling him to carry out the measurement safely during inspection. Other safety functions help prevent accidents caused by operating errors or incorrect settings.
This new Rondcom Nex series includes form-measuring devices for the metrology room and the production floor, with different Z-axis columns: a choice of 300, 500 or 900 mm, always with the same specification for measurement accuracy. The machines are designed for parts weighing up to 60 kg. Accretech's software features a user-friendly interface, simple teach-in programming, extensive measurement and analysis functions, and data processing capabilities.
