Aerotech's newest subsidiary, Peak Metrology, continues to grow stronger. This surface metrology solutions provider has announced a partnership with IDC MicroInspection. This partnership combines Peak Metrology's instruments and hardware capabilities with IDC MicroInspection's process know-how and application software. Users of digital microscopes will benefit from increased capabilities such as larger measurement volumes and improved automation of image acquisition. Finally, reliable positioning machines with scanning automation software are now available for seamless integration with Keyence VHX digital microscopes.
Led by RJ Hardt, a long-time Aerotech engineer, Peak Metrology leverages Aerotech's extensive expertise in positioning systems, but focuses exclusively on supporting industrial customers with surface metrology solutions up to full integration.
"The market for digital microscopes is booming. However, in areas such as semiconductor manufacturing, precision manufacturing, electronics, aerospace or medical technology, they are quickly reaching their limits, says RJ Hardt, president of Peak Metrology. We want to help our customers measure larger parts in the best possible way – this is one of the main goals of our company. By partnering with IDC, we are able to provide a fully integrated product. The know-how and operator software of our partner IDC allow a successful solution. »
