Wika's MTF-1 pressure sensor module offers a simple, flexible option for integration into a wide variety of applications. The pressure value is digitally processed in the module and output as a standardized digital or analog signal. In this way, the MTF-1 module provides accurate data for applications with pressures of up to 1,000 bar.
The output signal is set by Wika at the factory, eliminating the time and expense of calibration during integration.
This pressure module is used to transmit and convert pressure into an electrical signal. It also transmits a temperature value via the digital I²C signal. This temperature value does not correspond directly to the temperature of the fluid, as it is measured in the module's electronics. The MTF-1 is used as a component for products with integrated pressure measurement, but is not suitable for applications in direct contact with food products.
This pressure module operates as a slave, with the master communicating with the sensor using its I²C address. The address is set to "0" as standard, but can be adapted and modified by the user.
The MTF-1 model has been developed for pressure measurement in non-hazardous process fluids, such as industrial working fluids (liquids and gases) like hydraulic oils, breathing air, nitrogen, etc.
