Wika's MTF-1 model pressure sensor module offers a simple and flexible option, it can be integrated into a wide variety of applications. The pressure value is digitally processed in the module and emitted in the form of a standardized digital or analog signal. Thus, the MTF-1 module provides accurate data for applications with a pressure of up to 1,000 bar.
The setting of the output signal is done by Wika at the factory, which eliminates the time and budget spent on calibration during integration.
This pressure module is used to transmit and convert pressure into an electrical signal. It also emits a temperature value via the digital signal I²C. This temperature value does not correspond directly to the temperature of the fluid, as it is measured in the module electronics. MTF-1 is used as a component for products with integrated pressure measurement, but it is not suitable for applications in direct contact with food products.
This pressure module works like a slave, the master communicates with the sensor using his I²C address. The address is set to "0" as standard, but can be adapted and modified by the user.
The MTF-1 model was developed for pressure measurement in non-hazardous process fluids, such as industrial working fluids (liquids and gases) such as hydraulic oils, breathing air, nitrogen, etc.
