Trescal, a global specialist in metrology services, announced the acquisition of Classic Technology in Naas, Republic of Ireland, and CATLab in Virginia and North Carolina, USA. These two companies have a total turnover of 6 million euros. These are the 34th and 35th acquisitions since the acquisition by Omers in April 2018.
Thanks to Classic Technology, Trescal is established in the Republic of Ireland, the 27th country of the group. Created in 1997, Classic Technology is, according to Trescal, a leader in its market and is specialized in the health sector, particularly with the pharmaceutical industry and medical device manufacturers.
Founded in 1989, CATLab is also specialized in the healthcare sector and is accredited in six areas including pressure, vacuum, temperature, humidity and flowmetry. With these two laboratories, Trescal now has five sites in Virginia and North Carolina and thus expands its geographic coverage in the southeastern United States.
Guillaume Caroit, CHIEF Executive Officer of the Trescal Group: "These acquisitions illustrate our desire to develop our healthcare offer. We expect to reach 30% of our revenue in this sector by the end of the year. In addition, we are proud to enter the Republic of Ireland, the 27th country in the group, having only been in seven countries in 2008. »
