As well as being a highly accurate instrument, WIKA's new DPT-20 differential pressure transmitter is easy to use and configure.
The DPT-20 differential pressure transmitter is a versatile, easy-to-use instrument that can be integrated into a wide variety of industrial applications for flow or level measurement tasks, or for monitoring filters and pumps.
What's more, as a SIL-2 certified instrument, it meets the most stringent safety requirements.
The differential pressure transmitter operates with <0.065 % scale accuracy. Thanks to three-dimensional temperature compensation, it delivers reliable measurement results, even in adverse ambient conditions.
Seven different enclosure versions are available, enabling you to choose the right variant for every operating environment. To meet the requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries, for example, an electropolished stainless steel (316L) enclosure is available.
The DPT-20 is available with measuring ranges from -10 ... +10 mbar to -16 ... +16 bar, and is designed for static pressure up to 400 bar. Its rangeability, i.e. the possibility of varying the measurement scale associated with the output signal, makes it highly flexible in use and therefore economical to store.
In terms of communication protocols, the DPT-20 offers three communication protocols for integration into existing systems: Hart, Profibus PA or Foundation Fieldbus .
The differential pressure transmitter can be parameterized in several languages very easily and in two ways: by process control via DTM or EDD and the configuration software, or directly on the instrument via an optional digital display.
