Aerotech launches the new ANT nanopositioning plates with improved performance specifications and small footprints.
Building on the success of the first generation, Aerotech, a specialist in motion control and precision automation, has launched the second generation of ANT nanopositioning plates. Building on the previous proven model, the high-precision ANT95 and ANT130 nanopositioners are designed to support the user even better in terms of dynamics and precision.
"We have further enhanced ANT nanopositioning decks, providing our customers with options with impressive dynamic capabilities, industry-leading positioning performance, new travel ranges and more," said Brian Fink, Product Manager at Aerotech. Our second generation ANT turntables offer positional stability and minimal incremental motion in the sub-nanometer range. »
This is ensured by non-contact direct drive technology, extremely precise guidance and incremental movements in the sub-nanometric range while maintaining a high productivity capacity. For example, users whose processes require repeatable and highly accurate alignment of optical components will find the ideal solution in the ANT series, according to Aerotech.
The new ANT tables are both suitable for single and multi-axis applications that require high-precision movement with high productivity. Aerotech cites a wide range of applications, including photonics assembly and inspection, fiber alignment and optimization, optical product manufacturing, testing and inspection, sensor testing and qualification, semiconductor manufacturing and inspection, and research and laboratory applications.
The new ANT95 and ANT130 nanopositioners are available as single-axis nanopositioning tables, in XY solution, or in Z-axis with a very small footprint and offer uncompromising resolution, accuracy, repeatability, small footprint and reliability.
Aerotech is present at Control from 3 to 6 May 2022 in Stuttgart (Hall 5, Stand 5506).
