Elesa's MPI-R10 enables precise alignment and positioning, reducing machining time and procedures to a minimum. The new MPI-R10 magnetic system consists of a multifunction LCD display, connected to a specific FC-MPI magnetic sensor, and an M-Band-10 magnetic tape for measuring linear and angular displacement.
The MPI-R10, made of technopolymer based on fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, has a new design and more compact dimensions (mm 72×37) and is equipped with excellent autonomy thanks to its long-lasting internal lithium battery (four years) with buffer memory when replacing the battery.
Thanks to the notched fastening system (Elesa patent), the operations of assembling and disassembling the device from the panel are quick and easy.
It comes with a multifunction LCD screen with seven digits and special characters (height 12 mm) with a wide display of values and 4 multifunction keys for adjusting values and programs. Values are displayed in millimeters, inches, or angular degrees.
In addition, it is possible to view the absolute or incremental mode, configure up to 10 offset values, memorize and display 32 target positions and perform self-diagnosis. The magnetic measuring system is available in classes IP54 and IP67.
The second component of the system is the magnetic sensor with FC-MPI cable, made of die-cast zinc. The cable is connected to the screen by a click assembly that facilitates insertion and guarantees a correct connection even in the presence of accidental vibrations or tears.
The magnetic sensor cable is available in different lengths (max. 5 m).
The last component is the M-Band-10 magnetic tape composed of two distinct parts: the magnetic tape and the cover tape. The magnetic tape consists of a magnetic tape, a support tape and an adhesive tape. The cover strip consists of a protective strip and adhesive tape. The maximum length of the magnetic tape can reach 25 m.
