Trescal, the global leader in metrology services, announced the acquisition of Cincinnati Precision Instruments (CPI) in Ohio, USA, CRT Cleanroom-Technology in Germany and Switzerland and Electronica Industrial de Alverca (EIA) in Portugal. These three companies have a combined turnover of 16 million euros. Trescal has completed 42 acquisitions since its acquisition by Omers.
Founded in 1962, Cincinnati Precision Instruments offers metrology services and is accredited in nine areas including humidity, hardness and pressure. CPI operates mainly in the automotive and aerospace sectors. This acquisition allows Trescal to expand its geographic coverage in southern Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
CRT Cleanroom-Technology has two laboratories in Alsdorf, Germany, and Stein, Switzerland, and offers calibration and qualification services for clean rooms. This acquisition strengthens Trescal's health expertise in Central Europe with skills in particulate counting, microbial sampling, thermal process qualification and flow visualization.
Founded in 1989, the EIA specialises mainly in the health and agri-food sectors with two accredited laboratories in Lisbon and Porto. The EIA accreditations reinforce Trescal's expertise in calibration, testing and legal metrology in the Iberian Peninsula. Trescal becomes the leader in metrology and qualification services in Portugal.
Guillaume Caroit, CEO of the Trescal Group: " These acquisitions illustrate our desire to develop our offer for the healthcare and agri-food sectors. These sectors will represent nearly 25% of our turnover by the end of 2022. »
