RS Components, a trademark of RS Group plc (LSE: RS1), a global omnichannel provider of product and service solutions, offers the new oscilloscopes of the InfiniiVision 3000G X-Series family of Keysight Technologies, a specialist in electronic test instruments and measurements. The 3000G X series, which expands with eight new features offered as standard, brings together seven measurement functions in a single instrument with the same compactness as the popular oscilloscopes of Keysight's 3000T and 3000A X-Series families.

InfiniiVision X-Series oscilloscopes incorporate Keysight's MegaZoom IV ASIC. This intelligent memory technology performs various functions of interpolations, logical channel tracing, serial bus decoding and embedded measurements... The freed CPU offers an unmatched refresh rate of more than one million waveforms per second, without being hindered by other active functions. This allows design engineers to visualize signals in sufficient detail to identify intermittent defects and stealth anomalies that other oscilloscopes in this category would be unable to detect.

The InfiniiVision 3000G X-Series features eight new features that come standard, including waveform and measurement histograms, mask and measurement limit testing, triggering and decoding of five serial bus protocols, enhanced HDTV video analysis, and a LAN/VGA connection module. This allows testing capacity to be expanded for a fraction of the cost of adding each feature independently.

The 3000G X series oscilloscope is a versatile "seven-in-one" instrument designed to reduce costs and space on the test bench. Depending on the model, it offers two or four analog inputs and a bandwidth of 100MHz, 200MHz, 350MHz, 500MHz or 1GHz. In addition to serial protocol analysis functionality, the 3000G integrates up to five other instruments. The MIXED-signal OSCILLOSCOPE (MSO) option offers 16 built-in digital channels. This allows up to 20 time-correlated acquisition and visualization channels on the same instrument.

Frequency response analysis (FRA) is used to characterize the frequency response of electronic designs such as passive filters, amplifier circuits, and negative feedback networks of switching power supplies. An integrated generator of arbitrary 20 MHz functions and waveforms delivers a stimulus signal to the device under test. This generator has sinusoidal, square and ramp AM, FM and FSK modulation capabilities.

The integrated three-digit digital voltmeter uses the same probes as those of the oscilloscope input channels. However, the measurements are carried out independently. An eight-digit meter/totalizer measures frequencies with an accuracy specific to stand-alone meters.

The InfiniiVision 3000G X-Series oscilloscopes, which feature an 8.5-inch touchscreen user interface, are integrated into a compact 381 x 204 x 142 mm package.

The InfiniiVision 3000G X-Series oscilloscopes are now available from RS worldwide.
