For the fourth time, CAP'TRONIC, a national program to support SMEs in a wide range of sectors in integrating new electronic solutions into their products, awarded its Trophies at the new Carrefour des Industries Electroniques et Numériques CIEN, on Wednesday June 2, 2010.
Once again this year, the jury, made up of representatives from JESSICA FRANCE, OSEO, CEA, competence centers and SMEs, rewarded four French SMEs supported by CAP'TRONIC for successfully integrating electronic systems into their products, from among more than 30 projects submitted, in the following four categories: consumer products, industry & services, eco-innovation and start-ups.
CAP'TRONIC, a national program funded by the French Ministry of the Economy, Industry and Employment.
Founded by CEA and OSEO, and mainly financed by the French Ministry of the Economy, Industry and Finance
JESSICA FRANCE is implementing the CAP'TRONIC program.
The CAP'TRONIC Trophies competition is open to any company whose project has been supported by a CAP'TRONIC appraisal since January 1, 2006, and which has decided to undertake the development of the product concerned by this appraisal. New this year: the "Industry & Services" category, which rewards electronic projects designed to help these fields.

CAP'TRONIC Industry & Services Trophy :
Rewarding product innovation for industry and services through the implementation of electronic solutions:
GIMAR MONTAZ MAUTINO: Following an accident on a ski lift installation, and anticipating changes in French regulations (decree dated August 7, 2009), GMM developed the SECURM system for monitoring the rotation of the rollers supporting the traction cables. If one of these rollers is blocked, there is a high risk of derailment, hence the development of this system, which is both simple and robust. Self-sufficient in energy, they are designed for all gondola, chairlift and cableway installations worldwide.
