Measurexpovision and the International Congress of Metrology will be organized jointly from October 3 to 6, 2011 in Paris, Porte de Versailles.
The organizers of the International Congress of Metrology and Measurexpovision have decided to unite their efforts to create an event of European dimension dedicated to their activities.
MESUREXPOVISION is the benchmark trade fair for measurement, testing and vision solutions professionals in France.
The International Metrology Congress, unique in Europe, is the place for technical exchanges between all stakeholders in the world of measurement: experts, organizations, manufacturers and industrial users.
These two events oriented one towards business and the other towards the sharing of experiences and expertise have sometimes found themselves in direct competition. Today and after several years of negotiations, their organizers (the French College of Metrology and GL events exhibitions) have highlighted the many existing synergies and found the basis for a lasting agreement.
The Congress will maintain its high level of content and benefit from the attractiveness of the Show and the very extensive offer presented there. Many players, users, researchers and manufacturers who sometimes had to make a choice between the two events will now be able to find them combined.
This gathering is therefore an opportunity to offer the entire profession, in the same place and on the same dates, an economical and responsible, coherent and complete offer .
The merger also makes it possible to create a set of events intended to become a European benchmark in measurement and metrology, and its organizers expect significant growth from each of the components.
The editing is ambitious, and it is an event in itself in the world of measurement.
It also has a sustainable vocation, and must therefore meet everyone's expectations.
