Monitoring the production of composite materials involves significant and flexible means, using cutting-edge technologies: non-contact measurement (video-strain measurement, etc.), compression and fracture tests, aging monitoring. Aware that these means are not within the reach of all companies, Cetim (Technical Center for Mechanical Industries) and Europe Technologies , a company specializing in materials engineering, are joining forces to offer a common range of follow-up tests of production on composite materials. This targets in particular the aeronautics sector ( Airbus, Safran, Duqeine or Daher ).
The services offered benefit from the authorizations and certifications of both actors (Nadcap accreditations for tests on composite materials and Cofrac test program 93). The resources represent more than 2 million euros of state-of-the-art equipment: presses, testing machines, spectrometer, etc. They take advantage of the infrastructures of the Technocampus EMC2, Carquefou and Casablanca (Morocco) sites.
