Founded by Eduard Wille in 1862 in Wuppertal (Germany), Stahlwille now employs 600 people and has a world-renowned know-how, particularly in dynamometrics. It is precisely in this area that the company has just received an award from the jury of the International Forum Design Association (IF), which highlights innovative products and awards its annual IF Product Design Award. This competition is very strong: 1121 candidates from 43 countries, with 2,756 products, had registered in 2011. Among these candidates, the jury selected winners in 16 categories.
Stahlwille's IF Product Design Award is for PerfectControl, which is an automated calibration and adjustment bench for dynamometric keys. Quickly installed and quickly plugged in, it can be controlled with only three keys. It is particularly aimed at industrialists who have a large fleet of dynamometric keys or who have a daily need for calibration.
The equipment is equipped with an electrical drive combined with intelligent control, which greatly reduces the effort and duration of calibration. The ball screw mounted on precision bearings and the fine-tuning engine control eliminate measurement errors due to mishandling.
Stahlwille has a solid track background in calibration benches. Since 1997, its calibration laboratory has been accredited by the Deutsche Kalibrierdienst and thus authorized for the calibration of dynamometric keys and for the establishment of DKD calibration certificates.
