The partnership between Europe Technologies and the Cetim strengthens with the creation of their joint subsidiary EtimThe aim is to provide companies with the means to test and monitor the production of composite materials. The aim ofEtim is to become the benchmark contact for major players in the aeronautics industry (Airbus, Safran, Duqueine, Daheretc.).
The joint offering covers tests to monitor the manufacture or production of elementary composite parts (mechanical and physico-chemical characteristics, micrographic analysis, etc.). The services provided combine the responsiveness and flexibility of a small business with the expertise and engineering of a technology institute. They benefit from the accreditations and certifications of both players (Nadcap accreditation for composite materials testing and Cofrac programme 93: testing of plastics and organic matrix composites). The resources deployed are considerable: dedicated infrastructures at the Technocampus EMC2 sites in Carquefou and Casablanca (Morocco), representing some 5 million euros worth of state-of-the-art equipment (presses, compression, fracture and ageing test machines, spectrometers, etc.).
