Endress-Hauser, which specialises in process measurement and automation instruments, has just taken control of the German Systemplan (which employs 25 people), a consulting company specialising in the measurement and analysis of energy flows, both on industrial sites and in the tertiary sector. Systemplan was founded in 1998 and is based in Durmersheim (near Karlsruhe).
This acquisition is in line with the acquisitions made so far by Endress-Hauser: they are almost always small companies but bring technical or local know-how. As usual, the Swiss company will take its time to integrate it. This is how the French PB Measures has just been integrated, 4 years after its acquisition...
