In view of the ramp-up of its sensor deliveries for the Airbus 350 (which is scheduled to fly in 2013), Meggiyy Sensorex has just expanded its production site in Archamps (Haute Savoie), with the construction of a new 1100 m2 building. "The capacity of our premises will be insufficient in 2017, when production for the A350 will be at full capacity," Christian Bonnet, CEO of the company, told our colleague Le Dauphiné. "So we invested a million euros in the construction of a building. One floor will contain new machines, test benches and vibration benches. About 20 positions will be created by 2017.
Meggitt Sensorex specializes in LVDT motion sensors, inclinometers, accelerometers and shock recorders.
