A few weeks after taking control of Celesco Transducer Products (read the information) (linear and angular position sensors, winding measuring cables), Measurement Specialties Inc. (MEAS) has just completed the acquisition of Gentech (which until now belonged to Rubicon Partner). Gentech is a British company specializing in position measurement sensors, used in particular for level measurements in the tanks of large trucks and machinery. The company, which employs about 100 people, has been bought for 7.2 million euros, to which will be added 1.7 million euros if certain sales targets are met).
