The CFM (Collège Français de Métrologie) association was created in 2002: its logo and website date from that time. Today, the CFM's new orientations are accompanied by a change of image: a new logo has replaced the existing one. It affirms the association's position, with greater volume and more content.
The website is also under construction: new look, online registration and payment for technical days and book purchases, dematerialized documents, a collaborative workspace for members, etc.
The Collège Français de Métrologie's profiles on Facebook, Viadeo and LinkedIn have been going strong since 2010, with a large number of registered contacts.
The Guide des Prestataires, Conseils, Editeurs et Fabricants launched in 2011 will be published again in 2012. It features a one-page listing of all the association's members who fall into the above categories.
Last but not least, the Collège Français de Métrologie is pursuing its initiatives and closer ties with industry contacts:
- joint days with LNE are under study:
- 4 2-hour conferences are being planned for the Mesurexpovision trade show to be held in Paris in October.
- the foundations are being laid for the 2013 International Metrology Congress
