EADS and Creaform have announced the signing of a technology partnership in the optical 3D measurement sector applied to the aerospace, space and defence sectors. This 5-year technology collaboration agreement aims to develop innovative applications in the optical 3D measurement sector, particularly in the world of non-destructive control, test monitoring, and finally surface and form measurement.
"EADS has been successfully implementing and using Creaform's optical 3D scanning and metrology technologies since 2008. The planned developments are intended to enable EADS to reduce its development time, find synergies, and accelerate the introduction of new products," said Yann Barbaux, Executive Director ofEADS Innovation Works.
