The international ISO 11352 standard, which was revived in France with the new version of the NF T90-220, is due to be available in French in November 2012. This standard specifies a set of operating procedures to enable laboratories to estimate the uncertainty of measurement of their results, using an approach based on the results of internal and/or external quality control and method validation data. It is structured so that it can be applied by analysts who do not have in-depth knowledge of metrology or statistics. Afnor is organising training on this standard on 3 December.
