For contactless motion and thickness measurements, Micro-Epsilon's LDT IFS 2405 range of sensors is characterized by a gain in accuracy and sensitivity.
- Chromatic-coding confocal optical measurement, allowing the measurement perpendicular to the room
Measuring ranges: 300m, 1mm, 3mm, 10mm or 30mm
Linearity: ± 0.05% of the measurement range for travel measurements, ± 0.1% of the measurement range for thickness measurements
Resolution: 10 nm (for the 300-m range) to 180 nm (for the 30 mm range)
Measurements on all surface conditions, including reflective surfaces and glass
High sensitivity, which is interesting when you need to work on dark surfaces
Extended tipping angle: For the 300-m range, the tolerance on angular misalignment (relative to vertical) is ±34 degrees
Frequency measuring 10 kHz (LED) or even 70 kHz (xenon light source)
Good resistance to shocks and vibrations, IP65 sealing on the front
Reduced dimensions: from 27 mm in diameter to 154 mm long for the model with a 300-m measuring range, to 62 mm in diameter for 200 mm long for the model with a 30 mm measuring range
