The Flir T400 series of thermal imaging cameras offers the following features:
320 × 240 pixel resolution
The T400 series produces 320 × 240 pixel thermal images.
Camera sensitivity
The FLIR T400 Series has a thermal sensitivity of less than 45 mK.
High-quality visible images
All FLIR T400 Series models feature a 3.1-megapixel digital camera. This makes observation and inspection quick and easy.
Measurement range
Depending on the model, the T400 series can measure temperatures from -20°C to +1,200°C.
Interchangeable infrared lenses
The T400 series includes a standard 25° lens, and optional 6°, 15°, 45° and 90° lenses.
Flexible interfaces
The T400 series is equipped with standard video and USB outputs, as well as a removable SD card.
MPEG-4 video
Creation of MPEG-4 video files with non-radiometric visible and infrared images.
Merge function
This function combines visible and infrared images for easy analysis.
Audible and visible temperature alarms
Temperature monitoring is quicker and easier.
Picture-in-picture
Infrared image superimposed on visible image. Modification of its scale, position and dimensions, depending on the camera model.
Voice and text annotations
Create text comments selected from a list or entered via the touchscreen. Voice comments can be recorded using an integrated micro-listener.
Sketch annotations
The touch screen can be used as a notepad for sketching.
Image sketch
Indicate the problem directly on the thermal image.
IR radiometric recording flows
16-bit IR radiometric recording flow visible on PC (via USB) using FLIR software

FLIR Systems uses a radiometric JPEG image format, which allows post-processing and report writing using FLIR software based on Microsoft Word®.
Touch screen
The 3.5" LCD touchscreen and stylus provide unprecedented interactivity and comfort.
Measurement tools
Measurement points, automatic hot/cold point marking, isotherms, ∆T calculation, depending on camera model.
Transfer images to an external device-USB
Transfer images and reports directly from the thermal camera to a USB stick.
Instant reports
Instantly create in-camera reports, easy to transfer to an external USB device.
Dynamic multispectral imaging (MSX)*
