The next edition of Vision will take place in November 2014 - Vision 2013 will not take place.
From now on, Vision will be held every two years. Vision 2013 will therefore not take place. This decision was taken jointly by the Industrial Image Processing department of the VDMA (VDMA Industrielle Bildverarbeitung) and key industry players following extensive market research by Messe Stuttgart. " This new biannual rhythm will consolidate Vision's leading position and its role as a global innovation platform. "says Ulrich Kromer, General Manager of Messe Stuttgart. " With this strategic repositioning, Vision aligns itself with the changing needs of the industry ". " In taking this decision, Vision's management is responding to the wishes of many exhibitors. They want to offer trade visitors a real avalanche of innovations. The biennial schedule offers the best conditions for this. "explains Patrick Schwarzkopf, head of VDMA's Industrial Image Processing department, who is also the show's technical and conceptual promoter.
In November 2012, Vision celebrated its 25th anniversary and the biggest and most successful edition in its history. For a quarter of a century, the show has accompanied the industry as it has evolved. Now it's a question of laying the right foundations for the next 25 years of the industry's flagship show, and continuing to develop it.
Vision 2014 opens its doors from November 4 to 6 in Pavilion 1 (L-Bank-Forum).
