The next edition of Vision will take place in November 2014 - Vision 2013 will not take place.
Starting today, Vision will be held every two years. Vision 2013 will not take place. This decision was taken jointly with the specialized department Industrial Image Processing within the VDMA (VDMA Industrial Bildverarbeitung) and the key players in the industry after important market research by Messe Stuttgart. "This new biannual pace will help affirm Vision's leadership position and consolidate its role as a platform for global innovation," said Ulrich Kromer, Managing Director of Messe Stuttgart. "With this strategic repositioning, Vision aligns itself with the changing needs of the industry." "By making this decision, Vision officials are responding to the wishes of many exhibitors. They want to offer professional visitors a real innovation. The biennial rhythm offers the best conditions," explains Patrick Schwarzkopf, director of the VDMA's specialized industrial image processing department, who is also the technical and conceptual promoter of the show.
In November 2012, Vision celebrated its 25th anniversary and the largest and most successful edition in its history. For a quarter of a century, this show has accompanied the branch while following the same evolution. Now it is a question of laying the right foundations for the next 25 years of the industry's flagship show and continuing to develop it.
Vision 2014 will open its doors from November 4 to 6 at Pavilion 1 (L-Bank-Forum).
