It was Pierre Agullo, Quality and Innovation Director at La Poste Courrier, and Chairman of the EFQM Strategic Orientation Committee, who awarded Urs Endress, President of Endress + Hauser France, his CE2 EFQM diploma. The latter recognizes the company's commitment to excellence. A first in the French industrial world.
The Swiss group is in fact committed to a continuous improvement approach taken to its extreme by recognizing the validity and relevance of the EFQM model. Conversely, the EFQM model, “a management system of excellence” according to Pierre Agullo, recognizes that the company is progressing and conveys the notions of sharing and learning. The company's vision, its strategy; the needs and expectations of stakeholders; staff empowerment, development and satisfaction; good management of resources; respect for processes; result in good results, satisfying all the components of the company in accordance with expectations. This summary of the EFQM model applies to Endress + Hauser which brings continuous improvement on a daily basis and brings meaning to its activity, especially in its service activity.
The diploma recognizes that the company has passed the first level. If it continues like this, it will soon be able to compare itself to the best Europeans. The road to excellence is long, endless, but well marked.
