In many sectors such as automotive, medical, cosmetics, optics, injected plastic parts require an impeccable surface quality. No trace, ejector or pressure sensor can be accepted. Kistler therefore proposes a new non-unwinding pressure sensor to measure the pressure in the fingerprint and especially without any trace on the injected part.
The new longitudinal sensor type 9239A with a diameter of only 3 mm, is installed in the mold just behind the bottom of the cavity but without uncloging. During the injection phase, it will measure the deformation of the fingerprint that will be the image of the injection pressure.
Thanks to its small size (3mm), it is ideal for monitoring complex or multi-fingerprint molds, it connects like all other sensors in the Kistler range to a monitoring electronics such as the best-selling market, the COMO INJECTION.
This new 9239A type sensor... 3 mm diameter complements the range of non-uncorking sensors that includes another type 9247A product... 5 mm in diameter.
