Malvern Instrument s, known worldwide for its particle characterization activities, has just taken control of the small British company NanoSight, created in 2002 and which employs around fifty people. It has an original patented technology known as NTA (Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis) which allows it to perform the characterization and analysis at the nanometric scale, quickly and simultaneously, of several particles of different types. This technology complements Malvern's know-how in this area (especially with its Zetasizer range). The main applications are in the world of life sciences (medical, biology).
