Faro announces the release of its new Focus3D X 330 laser scanner. Building on the success of Focus3D, the Faro Focus3D X 330 outperforms previous models in terms of functionality and performance. It is capable of scanning objects up to 330 meters away, even in full sun. Thanks to its built-in GPS receiver, the laser scanner is able to correlate individual scans during post-processing. These advantages make the Focus3D X 330 the ideal instrument for topographical survey applications.

In addition, the scanning quality has been improved and the measurement noise reduced, allowing the Faro Focus3D X 330 to provide accurate three-dimensional models similar to real photos. However, performance improvements have not sacrificed safety: the Focus3D X 330 is equipped with a Class 1 laser that is safe for the eyes.
