Ametek, Inc. announced the acquisition of Creaform, Inc. for approximately US$120 million. Located in Levis, Canada, the privately held company has annual sales of approximately CAD$52 million. The acquisition is part of the external growth strategy pursued by the Ametek Group.

This acquisition is not expected to change, for the time being, the internal organization of the Canadian or that of its French subsidiary located in Fontaine, on the outskirts of Grenoble, near Minatec, the micro and nanotechnology innovation campus.
