HBM announces a new force calibration service as part of the DAkkS accreditation. The calibration certificate certifies traceability and includes an indication of measurement uncertainty and a declaration of compliance. It makes it easy to calibrate the force sensors used in the industrial measurement technique for production control as well as in the research and development test benches.
The best calibration facilities in measurement technology offer demonstrated measurement uncertainties of 0.005% to 0.02% of the actual value. The benchmarks used are regularly checked using measures compared with the PTB, thus the calibration certificate automatically constituting proof of traceability. In addition, the certificate also includes an indication of measurement uncertainty and a declaration of compliance, which ensures that audits are successful. In addition to the high precision of the equipment, the calibration procedure offers the widest range of calibration levels in the DAkkS (from 2.5 N to 5 MN for traction and compression forces). The new DAkkS calibration for force sensors is offered at the advantageous price of a factory calibration.
