Bernard Doroszczuk joined the Cofrac to take over as general manager at the end of October from Daniel Pierre, who himself had been its general manager since its creation in 1994.
Bernard Doroszczuk, General Engineer of Mines, was until the end of August, Regional Director of Environment and Energy (DRIEE) in Ile-de-France, delegate of the Seine-Normandie basin.
He set up this branch in 2010 by merging the regional directorate of the research and environment industry (DRIRE), the Regional Directorate of the Environment (DIREN), the Police Prefecture Classified Facilities Department (STIIIC) and the Water/Environment Service of the Seine Navigation Service (SNS). He also served as territorial delegate for the Ile-de-France of the Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN).
Bernard Doroszczuk was, between 2003 and 2010, director of DRIRE and territorial delegate of the ASN in the Central and Ile-de-France regions. Prior to that, he held various management and management roles in headquarters in the areas of safety, environment, nuclear safety and metrology. In the 1990s, he worked for eight years at Bureau Veritas in the industrial inspection and management systems certification trades. He began his career in the early 1980s in the public sector, in the safety of pressurized equipment and the transport of hazardous materials.
In his various roles, both centrally and regionally, in the private sector and in the public sector, he has been constantly in contact with safety, safety, health, and environmental issues, in the vicinity of hazardous facilities, in public places, or in workplaces. He was directly confronted with the practices of testing and testing, inspection and certification in assessing compliance with national and European standards and regulations.
Since the beginning of November, he has been succeeding Daniel Pierre as cofrac's general manager.
