With more than 450 devices sold, the Y. MU2000 is the world's most proven and popular universal radioscopic control system. The latest version, already equipped with a digital flat-screen detector, has been boosted again by a CT option.
While the pure, ultra-accurate CT systems - Y.CT Precision and Y.CT Modular - are more aimed at lab specialists and the Y.Multiplex radioscopic system with computer-assisted tomographic scanner deploys its multiple talents both in the lab and in production, the CT option for the Y.MU2000-D is aimed primarily at neophytes in tomographic scanner. "We wanted to create a simple product, to avoid the user having to worry about parameters such as projections, sensor resolution, voxel and other complicated technical correlations," explains Peter Kramm, project manager. "The user switches from X-ray to tomographic scanner at the touch of a button. Three quality modes with pre-defined settings ensure flawless application. However, at the time of analysis, the VolumeGraphics software offers all the possibilities that one can expect from such a powerful tool: measurements, comparison between real situations and situation to be achieved, analysis of pores and cross-sectional analyses according to the German P201 card. So with the Y. MU2000-D, YXLON has moved to the next generation of radioscopic detectors and optimized its product range.

While CT is one of the options on new systems, many existing systems can be equipped with the CT-Upgrade. The YXLON service will provide you with details on the subject.
