The Qualitropic competitiveness cluster and the Association des instituts Carnot (AiCarnot) have signed a partnership agreement to promote access to public R&D laboratories for companies in La Réunion.
The mission of the Carnot institute network is to develop partnership research, i.e. research carried out in partnership with companies to support their innovation, a key factor in competitiveness and growth. It has embarked on a policy of partnership with competitiveness clusters to encourage closer ties between cluster member companies and Carnot institutes.
Qualitropic, La Réunion's competitiveness cluster, supports the island's companies in developing and marketing new, high value-added products and services, as well as new, increasingly competitive, high environmental quality processes.
It is against this backdrop that Qualitropic and the Association des instituts Carnot have signed a partnership agreement, the aim of which is to promote access for Réunion companies to the skills of public laboratories not available on the island, and in particular to the skills of Carnot institutes.
This framework agreement provides for :
- setting up a program to promote reciprocal knowledge and access for Réunion companies to French research skills, particularly those of Carnot institutes;
- the establishment of a special partnership to enable Réunionese companies to take part in future Rendez-vous Carnot events, in particular through video-meetings.
