After the success of the events carried out in the west and the south of France in 2013, GOM France is organising a new presentation of its Atos technology with the Atos Core system at the Insa de Lyon on 25 March 2014. The school is a partner of GOM France for the organization of this event. They will welcome students, researchers and industry for a conference on contactless 3D measurement, inspection and automation technologies.
Based on live demonstrations, the GOM France team will demonstrate the sensor's effectiveness in various industrial applications: quality control, inspection, CAD, rapid prototyping, retrodesign...
The transfer team Industrial Management Products Process (MIP2) at Insa de Lyon offers a wide range of technological skills and resources for the industry around mechanical products and processes. A dozen engineers and technicians specializing in mechanical design, dimensional, geometric and microgeometric metrology offer cross-cutting skills: design, 3D scanning, 3D tolerance, prototyping and prototype production, quality control...
During this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Attend a presentation of GOM and its technologies
- Attend a full presentation of the ATOS Core system
- Take control of the sensor
- Attend a three-dimensional inspection operation on complex parts and various reverse engineering operations.
- Exchange with the GOM team around concrete cases
