This new line of FLIR T-M products features an advanced digital multimeter, two power clamps, a contactless voltage sensor, a hygrometer and a videoscope.
Building on 50 years of experience as the world's largest provider of thermal imaging technology, FLIR Systems announces the launch of a new line of test and measurement equipment (T-M). These new tools showcase the level of innovation, quality and reliability our customers usually expect from FLIR.
We designed them from A to Z to give them excellent features - advanced diagnosis, high productivity, improved connectivity - meeting the real requirements of our customers.
Three new electrical measuring instruments
This all-new line of T-M products features three electrical measuring instruments: the FLIR DM93, the FLIR CM83 and the FLIR CM78. All three have a large, readable LCD screen, a built-in flashlight with two powerful LEDs to illuminate dark areas, and Bluetooth connectivity® connecting smartphones with the latest FLIR Tools Mobile app. They can also wirelessly connect to MeterLink-compatible FLIR thermal imaging cameras®, to integrate their real-time measurements into IR images.
FLIR DM93: Streamline troubleshooting in the industry
The new FLIR DM93 is a robust TRMS digital multimeter, with advanced armour and filtering to perform accurate measurements, including on equipment controlled by frequency dimmers. It helps business users accurately analyze non-sinusoidal waveforms and noisy signals on frequency dimmer-controlled equipment. It also has a Low LoZ Impedance Mode to eliminate parasitic readings on long-time scenarios, and can automatically record data for intermittent problems.
FLIR CM83: Simplify power analysis and frequency dimmers.
The new FLIR CM83 is an industrial-grade TRMS power clip, useful for power analysis on three-phase systems and frequency dimmer-controlled hardware. Harmonic mode allows you to find noise from different electrical sources, phase rotation to confirm the phase orientation of three-phase systems, the Inrush Current function to detect transient phenomena at start-up.
FLIR CM78: multifunction current clamp
The new FLIR CM78 is a 1000 A current clip combining the functions of a TRMS digital multimeter and a power clip with contactless IR thermometer and K-type thermocouple. Useful for working on industrial equipment and complex machinery, this new current clamp allows the characteristics of alternating and continuous currents to be quickly and accurately identified up to 1000 A and 1000 V.
FLIR VP52: contactless voltage detector and flashlight
The new FLIR VP52 is a compact, contactless voltage detector. It has a powerful LED lamp to illuminate the area of intervention. It can emit a vibratory signal and LED alarms of several colors: this is useful during inspections in noisy environments. Its high/low sensitivity setting allows for testing of industrial equipment, low voltage systems and safety wall sockets.
FLIR MR77: versatile hygrometer
The new FLIR MR77 is a robust hygrometer with a tipless sensor and a state-of-the-art external sensor to measure moisture up to 19 mm below the surface of different types of wood and building materials. It also has a replaceable field temperature and humidity sensor, a laser pointer IR thermometer, Bluetooth connectivity with smartphones with the FLIR Tools Mobile app and MeterLink® compatible FLIR IR cameras.
FLIR VS70: new videoscope
The new FLIR VS70 is a rugged videoscope with intuitive controls that maneuver the camera probe in narrow areas to provide still, animated images and display them on a large 5.7-inch color LCD screen. It allows the camera to be directed to 90 degrees as standard, or 180 degrees for the wide-angle version, and records videos, images and sound on an SD card. With a battery life of six to eight hours, its battery can be recharged via the USB port. The included micro-listener handset allows voice annotations to be recorded during the inspection to clarify the results.
