An electronic differential pressure system is often less expensive and easier to handle than traditional measuring processes. All sensors in the new VEGABAR 80 series can be easily configured as an electronic differential pressure system.
A standard sensor is linked to a sensor of the same type equipped with slave electronics.
Benefits
- Simplified sensor selection and stock optimization
- Safer implementation and faster commissioning thanks to the commissioning wizard.
- No capillary separators for long-term stability
The user can use a pressure transmitter he has in stock, order another similar sensor in an electronic "slave" version, and his electronic differential pressure system is ready for use.
These ingenious duos reduce storage and training costs, while considerably expanding the range of applications by measuring process pressure, hydrostatic pressure and differential pressure.
Another advantage: unlike conventional differential pressure measurement systems, environmental influences such as temperature variations or strong vibrations do not affect measurement accuracy. The benefits of this system are felt not only in terms of cost, but also in terms of simplified installation.
