An electronic differential pressure system is often cheaper and easier to handle than traditional measuring methods. All sensors of the new VEGABAR 80 series can be easily configured as an electronic differential pressure system.
A standard sensor is associated with a sensor of the same type equipped with slave electronics.
- Simplified sensor choice and stock optimization
- Safer installation and faster commissioning thanks to the commissioning assistant.
- Absence of capillary separators provides long term stability
The user can use a pressure transmitter he has in stock, order another similar sensor in an electronic “slave” version, and his electronic differential pressure system is ready for use.
These ingenious duos reduce storage costs and training costs, while considerably expanding the range of applications by measuring process pressure, hydrostatic pressure and differential pressure.
Another advantage: Unlike conventional differential pressure measurement systems, environmental influences such as temperature variations or strong vibrations do not affect the accuracy of the measurement. The positive effects of this system are felt not only in terms of costs, but also of simplification of the installations.
