Open to direct and indirect exhibitors in the official catalogue, the Microns d'Or rewards innovative microtechnical achievements presented for the first time at the Micronora trade show. Awarded by a jury made up of industrialists and researchers active in the field of microtechnology, the Microns d'Or will be presented to the winners on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. hall D2 Conference Room. The winners are:
Category: MICROTECHNIC COMPONENTS
CG. TEC INJECTION (Hall B2 - aisle 4 - stand 401)
for the injection of microfluidic components including a 7 micron filter made possible by the innovative design and production of moulds. The combination of three technologies (Liga, laser sintering, hot/cold injection cycle) has helped to push the technological limits of injection.
Category: SUB-ENSEMBLES ASSOCIATING MICROTECHNICAL COMPONENTS
SILMACH (Micromecatronic Zoom)
for a micro-device for detecting and counting events such as impact, vibration and deformation. This energy-free system assesses the level of potential damage to a structure.
Category: DEVICES incorporatING MICROTECHNIC COMPONENTS
GF MACHINING SOLUTIONS (Hall A2 - aisle 2 - booth 241 / Hall C - aisle 2 - stand 213)
for an optical control and intelligent correction device in wire erosion machining. This equipment, which compares the machined profile and the theoretical simulation, allows engraving details reaching the micron.
Category: TOOLS AND PRODUCTION INSTRUMENTS
QIOVA (Hall C - aisle 3 - booth 309)
for a high-speed laser marking device (80,000 shots per hour). Innovative product by the absence of mask and particularly expected in the field of anti-counterfeiting on all media.
Category: MACHINES-TOOLS AND MACHINES OF MICROTECHNICAL PRODUCTION, AUTOMATISMS, ACCESSORIES
R-DERS (Hall A2 - aisle 6 - stand 641)
for a very high-speed pin (up to 90,000 rpm) which is one of the last links for machining and micro-machining. It allows very high quality, precision and surface condition machining and thus generates production gains.
Category: PROTOTYPE MICROSYSTEMS RESERVED FOR RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS
IEMN (Micromecatronic Zoom)
for the production of a Flying Object Mimanting the Insect (OVMI) using MEMS technologies to lead to the generation of newnanodrones for monitoring and inspection
JURY HONORARY AWARD
CARMAT (Micromeatronic Zoom)
for the realization of an implantable artificial heart. This prosthesis is an exceptional example of what can be said about the association between mechanics, electronics, computers and sensors.
SPECIAL MENTIONS FROM THE JURY
FEMTO-ST / Dep. AS2M (Hall C - aisle 6 - booth 607)
for the realization of a microsystem built into the head of an endoscope for robotic laser surgery of the vocal cords.
VUILLERMOZ Philippe (Hall B2 - aisle 1 - stand 111)
for a piston screw supermoulded from an elastomer washer - 0.99 x 0.34 ± 2 m. Vuillermoz pushes the boundaries in terms of micro-machining and micro-injection.
