The first edition of WNE - World Nuclear Exhibition - ended on 16 October with a positive result. The 495 exhibitors, 27% of whom were foreigners, had the opportunity to meet more than 7,200 visitors from 71 countries.
Nearly 50 ministers, deputy ministers, secretaries of state and senior officials visited the show, which was covered by 160 journalists, half of them international press. During the exhibition, WNE presented professionals, through 5 roundtables and 4 special sessions led by industry and research leaders, with comprehensive information on the issues facing the nuclear industry.
Numerous workshops also allowed the various players to present their technologies and know-how. All participants will also remember the speech of the Prime Minister of France, Manuel Valls, who expressed the government's support for the French nuclear industry.
Building on this first success, WNE is already preparing its second edition which will take place from 11 to 13 October 2016 in Paris Le Bourget.
