Just over 3 months after the official announcement of the sale of its business by Airbus Group, Spherea, ex-Cassidian Test & Services, has appointed its new Chief Financial Officer: Claire Dubois-Berger.
Claire Dubois-Berger, a graduate of ESCP Paris, holds a DEA MSG in applied mathematics and is a chartered accountant, reporting directly to Christian Dabasse, CEO and Chairman of SPherea. Responsible primarily for the financial integration and consolidation of the new group, following the acquisition of ACE Management and IRDI, the new CFO will bring her in-depth expertise in mergers & acquisitions and business integration.
Claire Dubois Berger, 49, has a solid career in strategic project management within large-scale groups. Beginning her career in Paris with Arthur Andersen, she went on to hold successive positions as CFO of Chorus Tours, Head of the Alcatel Alsthom Group's Financial Studies and Evaluations Department, Group Controller and CFO of the Alcatel Group's space and military branch. In 1997, she co-managed the sale of Alcatel Radio, Space & Defense's Defense branch to Thalès. Between 2002 and 2011, she joined GLS France as CFO and then Deputy Managing Director, before returning to the world of SMEs with the Franco-German industrial group H-VMI (automotive suppliers). A predominantly international career path, which comes as no surprise to this Germanophile with a passion for Anglo-Saxon culture.
