Trescal, an international calibration services specialist, announces the acquisition of General Calibration Inc. in Boonton, New Jersey. GenCal is a multi-domestic laboratory accredited ISO 17025 by the national organization A2LA and employs 22 people with a turnover of $3 million.
This acquisition allows Trescal to expand its presence in the U.S. market, particularly in the Northeast, and to enhance its high-voltage skills. GenCal's management team remains in place.

This acquisition was carried out with the support of Trescal's majority shareholder, Ardian. This is the tenth acquisition since the acquisition of Trescal in July 2013 and the fourth in the United States in 2014.
