Since the 1ster On January 1, Safran set up a new entity, Safran Analytics, with the aim of meeting the challenges of Big Data.
The creation of this entity is part of Safran's ongoing strategy of innovation and digital transformation. Safran Analytics' mission is to federate and coordinate all the Group's activities in the field of Big Data, and to make the exploitation of data a new performance lever. This joint approach will enable Safran to increase the efficiency of its processes and develop differentiation levers in the development of high value-added products and services for its customers.
In 2015, the entity plans to hire around forty employees, who will be working with new methodologies in close proximity to the Group's companies. The new entity will be headed by Ghislaine Doukhan (47, HEC graduate), who will report directly to Marc Ventre, Executive Vice President, Operations.
