The Frenchmen Heito and Chauvin Arnoux have reached an agreement transferring Heito's electrochemical activity to Chauvin Arnoux. More than just a sale of the electrochemical measurement branch, this agreement is a partnership of transfer of know-how and expertise between the two companies.
Heito, founded in 1948, is one of the last French industrial players in the field of electrochemical measuring devices: pH-meters, redox, conductimeters, oxymeters, probes and electrodes. These devices are mainly intended for the education market, laboratories, research and development centres, industries and environmental control bodies.
The company will continue its other industrial activities, in particular, the manufacture of fixed-setting bimetallic thermostats marketed under the Vigitherme brand, for professional electronic and electrotechnical applications in many fields: aeronautics, military, transport equipment, fire safety, freezing...
For its part, Chauvin Arnoux intends to use this new technological expertise to enrich its offer.
